The Foundation is managed by a board of directors representing a diversity of expertise and skills. Board members oversee the disbursement of funds that are donated, bequested or acquired through fundraising events.


Tiana Ronstadt, President
Tiana is an experienced and respected financial consultant, motivational lecturer and seminar speaker.  She has been an Investment Adviser Representative with Woodbury Financial Services of Hartford Life for over 16 years.  In 2006, she founded Power Women Investing to continue her mission of education and consulting.  She serves on several boards; Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson, Tucson Symphony Cotillion, and past president of the Junior League of Tucson.  Tiana believes that by educating and empowering women, we can change communities.  Tiana is passionate about her career, the community and her family - husband Jeff, and their young children, Mia and Larry.

Carol Clark, Executive Director
Carol worked in municipal government for 24 years with a background in administrative support and constituent services prior to coming to Casa de la Luz Hospice in September 2006. She serves as director of the hospice volunteer program, and executive director of the Foundation. Carol enjoys being active in the community and has served on the board for Tucson Clean and Beautiful, and has volunteered for Mobile Meals and 88-Crime. She enjoys power walking and outings with husband Tom bicycling and motorcycling, as well as spending time with their two grown sons and their families living in Tucson.

Bayard Auchincloss, Vice President, Community Outreach/PR
Bayard is a realtor with Long Realty Company, providing personal services in Tucson and the surrounding area.

James McKay, Vice President, Board Governance
Following graduation from college, Jim served as an officer in the United States Army Air Defense Command. In 1962 he led an advance party to establish America's Air Defense Missile bases during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After leaving the military he joined Eastman Kodak Corporation where he built a thirty seven year professional career. Most of that career was spent in Kodak's motion picture and television division, serving in various capacities in sales management, marketing management, and general management. Jim was the founder and director of the Kodak Worldwide Student Program and the Emerging Filmmakers Program. He and his wife, Barbara have been married 44 years and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

Chuck Luhtala, Treasurer
Chuck is President of Canyon Community Bank with over 20 years of commercial banking experience. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, he came to Tucson in 2000 to assist with the formation of this new community bank.

Judy Clinco, Secretary
Judy is Chief Executive Officer and founder of Catalina In-Home Services, Inc., providing personal care and support services in Tucson and the surrounding communities since 1981. She established Direct Caregiver Association in 2000, an innovative job training and placement program for certified caregivers and nursing assistants.

Kevin Kinghorn
Kevin is an attorney with Morris, Hall & Kinghorn, PLLC. He is certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a Specialist in Trusts and Estates, and is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

 

Constance L. Trecartin, J.D.
Connie was a criminal defense attorney for 25 years, closing her practice to be a full-time caregiver for her beloved husband. She serves on the boards of Women Lawyers Association, Appellate Case Processing Implementation Task Force, Pima County Bar Association, and Arizona Bar Foundation's High School Mock Trial Program. Keeping true to her commitment to balance physical and intellectual activities, Connie is an avid hiker and backpacker.

Frank Williams, Ph.D.
Frank is the Director of Social Services at Casa de la Luz Hospice. He was previously with Family Counseling Agency/Our Family Services for 9 years where he served in several positions, lastly Executive Director. He served on the Family Studies faculty at the University of Arizona for 20 years, and is a United Methodist Minister, serving churches in California and Arizona. A native Arizonan, he graduated from the University of Arizona and holds his Masters of Sacred Theology and his Doctorate from Boston University. He is active on many community boards. Frank is married to Linda.
